My wife rented a car thanksgiving weekend, Chevy Malibu. She returned it with a full tank and the guy asked if she was going to fill it up. She said she already did.She put gas in it until the pump clicked, had the receipt and gauge on full. He said it would hold more and asked again if she was going to fill it up. She said she did. He charged us for 2 gal. at 7 or 8 dollars a gallon. Keep in mind my truck will not get 2 gal extra after the pump clicks. He also just guessed at the 2 gal., not actually filling it up and seeing. The car would puke gas if filled to the brink. Experience from the trip. So if you rent a car make sure gas is poring out when you bring it back. Plus the car was given to us saying the oil needed to be changed and them knowing we was going on a long trip. We put 2000 miles on it.
