Service is cool, But they need more time management skills at this location. Precision is right next door. I have watched people come to pep boys and here the wait and go right next door with half the wait and get in and out. If you say you price match that should be the first thing you offer instead of the customer having to ask everytime, with Precision with a huge sign next to your parking lot with the price of the oil change. To some it all up, this place needs better Customer support and Time management.....
I took my 2003 Tahoe in for normal maintenance of oil change and tire rotation. Pepboys noticed rear axial leak so I set up appointment to have seals changed. I picked up the vehicle and stopped at a store on the way home where I noticed rear end fluid under car. I looked and found that the plug was not installed and all fluid way splashed out. 1.5 hours in parking lot before pepboys brought plug and fluid to fix. I gave pepboys the benefit of the doubt and took my 2014 camaro in for oil change and tire balance. I purchased tires there. I told them that left front was reporting low on instrument console. When I picked car up the next day (gave them from noon Saturday until Sunday to work it in) I checked instrument console and the left front was at proper pressure but the other 3 were all lower. I went in side and asked them about it and was told the procedure was to set tires at pressure then balance. I was them told that tires had to leak down overnight. It has been 2 days since tire pressure was finally set and have not leaked down. While pepboys was filling tires i monitored the instrument console and notice rear tires were swapped and the computer had to be reset. The interesting thing is pepboys installed these tires so for 1.5 years it has been wrong. My guess is no balance was done just air added to left front. This brings up another question did pepboys change my oil? Did they use Mobil one like I asked? Or did they just reset computer and charge me $100 bucks? I pay too much for vehicles and put trust in people who work on them. You have lost my trust and consequently lost a customer who has five vehicles to service..
to bad your competitor had to unmounted and re balance the tires you sold to me after I gave you a second chance to fix it. spoke to manager he is very kind and making it right
This location was a lifesaver and such a huge help! We broke down on New Year’s Eve and had to stay in Decatur. I talked to Mike the next day and he was able to help us. Eric even drove me back to the hotel and picked me up when the van was ready. Mike and Eric are some of the nicest servicemen I have ever met, their customer service was over the top, and they did great work on our van!
Went for an oil change. These guys went out of their way to get my car in and out asap! Very friendly and usually have coupons available for you to use.
