This was my first stay in a Double Tree. I usually stay at a Hampton Inn. We got a king suite with two twin beds. It was so wonderful to have the kids in their own space. That was a huge plus.
clean, nice staff, quiet, and the food + room service was excellent. loved the fried chicken. if i had to stay in Decatur again i would definitely book back again with the double tree!
Unlike Hampton Inn, Double Tree does not offer free breakfast. Double Tree's cookies at check-in are better, though
I did not book a room here, me and my family made reservations at Twist Grill & Bar Restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great experience having never ate out on Thanksgiving. They had everything and all of it was great would love to see what they serve on thier regular menu.
We broke down on New Year’s Eve. Alyssa at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. The breakfast buffet had so many different items on it and was perfectly cooked. The room was very clean, modern, and the beds were very comfy. We are so thankful for this hotel and the staff for making a difficult experience so delightful.
The room(s)/suite were clean and nicely furnished. Same for the bathrooms. There were several toiletries provided including make-up remover and shower gel. The only downside was the size of the toilet compartment. The door swings in, so to close it, you have to stand in the shower.
This hotel was fabulous! Clean, modern, spacious. The staff was friendly and upbeat - even when we checked in after midnight! Definitely would stay here again.
