I came to stay for a few weeks but only paid a week at a time. The first week I paid 230$, which was great normal price for the location & room. Staff is friendly but the next week the man tried to charge me 240$ I said no it was only 230$ so he kept the 230$.. now this week he charged me 260$.. he lost my business.. this hotel is not worth 260$ a week & I have never been givin a receipt. I will not allow my money to be pocketed by someone. He basically got 30$ for his pocket from me. But it will not happen again! Watch out for Devan! He loves to tell u a higher price but won't give a receipt for proof of payment. The excuse was they were out of paper.. smh.. yea right! He pocketed 30$ of my money!

Hotel nasty...... staff is not friendly.... roaches.... bathroom not clean... tub doesn't drain... broke toilet seat.... won't bring u clean towels or toilet paper... they don't like to come clean your room while your here... but they will come in and go thru your stuff.... room stinks I went bought candles and air freshener.... can't smoke in room... fridge was broke no chairs or lamps... my advice is don't stay here unless u have to like I did that's where the school put us....so bring towels.. bed cloths... cleaner... air freshener and bug spray
It's nice. I like the fact that there is no carpet in my room. Makes me feel like the room is 100% more clean.
Great rates, great location. So many restaurants within walking distance. Staff is great. Diffently coming back when I'm in town again.
I stay at this econo lodge in Decatur Alabama all the time, I give it ten thumbs up, the staff is very friendly and courteous, rooms r super clean and bed is very comfortable , the price u pay is very reasonable, building appearance from outside has improved a lot, recently they have made some renovation and has updated the property, rest room was very clean and breakfast was quite reasonable.
