It's always beautiful, well kept landscaping, clean kept grounds. The bathroom leaves very much to be desired but it is public. It's a great place for children's parties, to let them play, take your mom for a picnic, sit and chat with friends (other than the occasional locomotive horn, it is rather quiet, I think.) It is, also, a great place to park your car during a particularly long phone conversation and not be bothered. Great view in every direction. We love to do photos there. I've been doing event photos there for many years.

Nice public park to hang out. Has a nice play area for kids. However, the train runs right through the park.

Very historic.Great views of the river with bridges for passengers, cars and trains, nice historical displays. Nice playground and an open shelter for eating or parties.very peaceful.

A pleasant waterfront park providing views of trains crossing the bridge over the Tennessee River, boats, nature. A tucked away spot worth a visit, whether for a destination or when passing through.

It's a free park that's a pretty good place to take kids with a good view of the river and with a delightful pavilion and run on sentences. It's a pretty safe park. Watch your kids and don't let them take their own guns or knives. It's also got the bike trail head which is cool. Smoking is frowned upon at children's playgrounds, but it doesn't seem to stop any of the idiots that do. They'll never read this, so it's ok. They're still idiots and they're happily killing their families and themselves. Cool story. Here's another. You can go fishing at this park and catch things. There's a cat food plant that has a delightful smell and it attracts millions of species of fish from around the globe. You have to be REALLY CAREFUL when you cross the train track because it sometimes has trains in it. They're a little less forgiving than smokers when you call them names, but more polite. If they run you down it's mostly your own fault. So hooray park
