Excellent front desk staff, cute and comfortable rooms, pet friendly hotel with an unbelievable and delicious breakfast. They also provide a nice snack of fresh hot buttered movie theatre popcorn throughout the day and its all included in your stay. First time visiting Alabama and a first time stay at Microtel Inn. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Microtel for being so hospitable and putting us at at ease when being away from home during hurricane Irma.
Nice hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. I had a couple of requests and questions that they fulfilled and answered without hesitation. Our room was clean and ready upon checking. Only complaint was the air conditioning unit in our room made a noise that was annoying. Parking was not a problem and finding the hotel was also easy.
Housekeeping and management have been amazing. Everyone is so friendly and polite here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Decatur.
We had a great 3 night stay at Microtel. Clean, nice rooms for us and my in-laws. Very good breakfast was included. We also received a military discount for the room. We will stay there again on our next visit to Alabama.
This place is wonderful! We had a terrible hotel experience booking online on our way down to the beach at gulf shores from Indiana. We stopped just an exit or 2 difference on our way back and spent $25 more but we had an extra person and it is 8 miles off the highway but an easy 8 miles. turn off the highway and turn left and it was off that road. The room was clean and modern. the lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful and the lady at the breakfast bar was adorable and from Indiana too!! Loved it'
