I called to try to schedule an appointment with Dr. Jackson and of course I didn't mind seeing the Nurse Practitioner for my first appointment. The problem was I needed a day that I could also reschedule my patients or try to get a day that I already had another appointment scheduled in order to refrain from taking so many days off work. The receptionist was obviously stressed or too busy to spend over 30 seconds on the phone. When I asked her to repeat what time she said she yelled it out. After that I asked when the Nurse would be available in Janurary, her response was, "Ok, just what time do you need." I felt like she was too quick and sarcastic to answer a simple question. As a health care provider myself, I treat ever patient with respect they deserve no matter how busy or far behind I am and I depend on the office employees to ensure every patient is taken care of and treated correctly. I was not impressed with my first impression and I'm sure Dr Jackson is a terrific Doctor. It's really a shame.
