Came in and was seated immediately, took 10 minutes for someone to get our drink order. After that a manager finally visited my table but not to address the terrible service I had already received but to inform me that they didn't have the menu item I had ordered.
I'm literally always very happy with a cracker barrel experience. The service is always excellent with the lively staff & the fact that they always make sure you are happy, it's like they're always looking for new ways to improve, but really, what is there to improve? The service is great, the food is great & then there's the trinket shop after you're done or before u are seated during the possible wait time. Not to mention the old fashioned checkers game or 10 u can play with your kids in the rocking chairs, or just the relaxation in the rockers on the front porch. This is my go to place & I'd recommend it to anybody wanting to relax & really enjoy a good meal. :)
[Edit] The last 2 visits have been a real disappointment. Slow service, cold food, and still loud and overly-busy in my opinion.
Stood waiting for hostess almost 10 min. Two waitresses walked by without acknowledgement. The restaurant was less than half full. I love Cracker Barrel, but will not go back to this location.
We met my daughter and her family from Tennessee and had a great dinner and a great reunion. Six adults plus a year and a half year old great grand daughter, We all had different meals and all the food was very good and enjoyed by all. It was a great experience for all.
Can't really go wrong with Cracker Barrel. Except ...the noise. I guess its the acoustics, but it's never a quiet meal, if that's what you're after.
